I’m still playing catch up with my blogging but wanted to share with you this stunning wedding from a few weeks ago in Ticehurst, Sussex.
I first met Kelly and Darren last year and instantly knew that their wedding was going to be special.
Not only are they both super lovely, but they work for the Fire Service and Darren is a firefighter, so they were looking to have a Guard of Honour, complete with axes there on their special day!
They had chosen the beautiful venue of Swallows Oast in Ticehurst, Sussex for their ceremony and reception and despite it being late September, the sun shone brightly so they could have an outdoor ceremony.
We started the day with groom prep both at their home and then down to the beach at Hastings, surrounded by the old fishing boats.
Then I headed off to see Kelly and the bridesmaids getting ready at Dale Hill Hotel and Golf Club before heading to Swallows Oast.
Surrounded by family and friends, it really was a special day and there was a lot of laughter and tears from everyone involved.
I also have to mention the amazing entertainment by way of Undercover Artists Singing Waiters, who were phenomenal and had everyone up and dancing after dessert had been served.
Thank you Kelly and Darren for leaving your reception meal so that we didn’t miss the best light of the day. Now that you have seen your pictures, I know you appreciate why it was so important to do this.
It was lovely to be able to be able to capture your memories for you and be part of your wedding and a big thank you for choosing me to be your photographer… x
